05 Jul Our Style Lounges have Received a Makeover!
Have you heard the news? We’ve just completed a serious redo of our style lounges to give our Dallas style appointment customers a more elevated styling experience! You may be asking yourself the following question: “What is a style appointment and why haven’t I had one?” In a nutshell, it is an enjoyable and efficient way to spend an hour. A Stylist will spend usually one hour preparing for your arrival by studying your style profile (and notes of past purchases if you’ve shopped before) and pulling items she feels will suit your likes, highlight your best features, and meet the needs of your lifestyle.
When you arrive at our studio in the Dallas Design District, your FDF Stylist will invite you into a private style lounge filled with several outfits and some extra items all in your size. As you find something you love, your Stylist shows you multiple options for wearing that item several different ways. We view this as a mutual discovery process because your Stylist is showing you options and making specific suggestions on looks until your eyes light up upon looking in the mirror.
Many clients come in for a style appointment because they are looking for seasonal updates while others have more specific needs like building out a business wardrobe or packing for a vacation. Some of our clients love lunch appointments during the weekday because they shop for an hour and leave with a salad or sandwich from Whole Foods or Eatzi’s compliments of Front Door Fashion. Others come in during the evening or on a weekend when they can shop while sipping champagne. We may it work for the client’s schedule.
As we continue to grow and provided an elegant and relaxed in-person shopping experience for more and more of our clients living in or visiting Dallas, it was only fitting that our lounges be taken up a notch!
