Trend Alert: The Cold Shoulder

The cold shoulder has been seen on runways from New York to Paris and is now a key street style being worn by bloggers, bachelorettes and the fashion-savvy. It’s the perfect warm-weather trend that we ALL can wear this season.

A more structured off-the-shoulder top is a solid option for dressier occasions.  In this look I paired a peek-a-boo shoulder top with a pair of zebra printed Trina Turk wide leg trousers.  I accented the look with a gold metal belt and a Kendra Scott pink charm necklace and platform sandals.

For a classic daytime look, pair this top with a white or black midi pencil skirt. For a night out, swap your skirt for a pair of black skinny jeans & peep-toe booties.

This shoulder-bearing ruffled navy top allows you to show a little skin without looking too risque. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and sexy. I love mixing colorful separates to create a color-block effect and letting  bold colored accessories do the talking.

Whether your style is classic, boho, romantic, sexy or edgy, when done right, an off-the-shoulder top can add instant style cred to your look.
