3 Stylish Resolutions You Can Actually Keep

A new year = a new start! Here at Front Door Fashion, we’re focused on helping our clients start fresh in 2019 with new style choices and new looks. We asked three of our FDF Stylists to highlight a few clients who were willing to step out of their style comfort zone in 2018 and offer all of us some tips for outfit resolutions that will be easy to keep in 2019.  Scroll on to see more!

Style Resolution #1: Add Some Fun Into Your Everyday Outfit

Our client Laura is pictured here with her daughter. Her FDF Stylist Erica explains what she did to add a little fun into Laura’s outfit. “By adding a statement piece to a casual look, you can elevate it automatically. A graphic sweater or fringed denim are both easy ways to add fun to an outfit! Don’t be afraid of statement pieces. When styled correctly they work!”

Style Resolution #2: Build A Cohesive Wardrobe For Work And Play

FDF Stylist Marie Claire touches on interchangeable pieces that take you to work and play. This Marie Oliver blouse on her client Teresa is a perfect example. “It’s all about wear now, wear later. Once you find that piece that gives you options and a little bit of  ‘umph’ you are now on your way to a wardrobe full of possibilities. To take this plaid blouse and make it work appropriate, tuck it into a classic pencil skirt and you’re ready for the 9 to 5 grind. ”

Style Resolution #3: Make Athleisure Cute Again

FDF Stylist Rachel shares her take on styling the sportswear trend for her client Melissa. “It’s all in the details, even when wearing athleisure. Athleisure doesn’t need to be boring. It should be comfortable, cute, and effortless. A unique jacket with basics can really make an outfit pop!”
